Metalbox Remarketing has a long-standing partnership with the Shannon Bradshaw Trust, a charity close to our Managing Director and his family. Established 20 years ago, the trust provides invaluable assistance to families facing difficult circumstances.
To support their admirable efforts, we donate £5.00 for every vehicle we sell. This year, we're on track to donate several thousand pounds at the trust's annual summer ball in June.
Fighting Food Waste and Helping the Community
Our involvement in the local community doesn't stop there. We're proud to support Filey's Community Fridge, an incredible initiative led by our MD's wife, Dianne.
Over the past four years, the project has grown significantly, redistributing food that would otherwise go to waste to individuals, couples, and families affected by the cost of living crisis.

Our first property is now home to a Ukrainian mother and her two children, offering them safety and stability while their husband and father defend their country. We're actively working to acquire more properties, with the goal of providing quality, affordable housing for those in need.

Our commitment to the community extends to supporting the local Lions Club and their commendable work. Additionally, we've contributed to the restoration of a community bus service, which offers essential transportation to elderly and infirm residents.
By financing a new engine for the bus, we've helped keep this vital service running for those who rely on it.
